2026 plant propagation event

Activity: Propagating tussock grasses.
Description: Today we’ll be propagating a few thousand more tussock grasses for use in our revegetation along the creek. Growing our own saves us about $7,000.00 in purchase costs. You’ll have some fun and learn how easy (and inexpensive!) it is to grow these plants from seed.
Where: TBC.
When: 9:00 a.m. Sunday the 15th of March to approximately 11:00 a.m.
We’ll finish up with light refreshments.
Bring: gardening gloves, hat, and wear clothing suitable for the weather. Wearing masks is advisable when working with potting mix.
