Castlemaine Working Bee 2020

Looking for an outside activity where we are at a safe distance from each other: come along to help protect our re-vegetation planted last year.

We have had excellent results with our sowing on the Coliban Water section of Honeycomb Bushland Reserve. However, grazing & trampling by kangaroos is severe, so we need to protect the seedlings & repair some of the guards the ‘roos have already damaged.

Meet at the gate into Coliban Water’s land just opposite Castlemaine Car Parts

Wear sturdy clothing suitable for the weather, including stout footwear and if possible, leather gloves. If you can, bring wire cutters. B.Y.O. water & a snack. Hope to see you there
